Donna Sawicki, Administrator for the Township of Oswego, which represents the Boulder Hill Subdivision of 308, gave her opinion. She has two children at Oswego High School.
In the final stages of the meeting, approximately 95% of the 200 people in the OE theater were unmasked. Although the district previously said masks would be required, it did not reprimand the public. Two uniformed Oswego police observed the meeting but did not intervene.
Oswego School Board 308 were called cowards when they left the room for recess after a man refused to stop talking with the hammer clanging in the background on several occasions. The council also voted on a motion to adjourn later, but the motion failed 5-1. Oswego police escorted 308 board members and administrative staff from the building at the end of the meeting.
